Jeronimo Folgueira is the Managing Director of Bigpoint S.a.r.L., located in Luxembourg City. Mr. Folgueira joined Bigpoint in November 2011 as Director of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions in Hamburg, and since February 2013, he is responsible for the strategic and operational development of Bigpoint’s Sales House in Luxembourg, managing Bigpoint’s network of payment and distribution partners in Europe. Mr. Folgueira holds a degree in Economics from University of Navarra and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and started his career as M&A analyst in the media and telecom sector at Lehman Brothers in London, before moving on to Citigroup in Madrid and to Thomson Reuters in New York City. Prior to Bigpoint he was Senior Executive at RTL Group where he was responsible for all M&A projects at group level. Mr. Folgueira has also engaged as an entrepreneur, having founded Helppy in July 2010, an online marketplace to connect people who need help or services.
